Cleaning Tips from Debbie Brite

Hob Brite

Cleans:

• UPVC Window frames. 
• Metal alloy wheels.
• Pushchair wheels.
• Plastic garden furniture.
• Ceramic hair straighteners.
• Gets rid of black scuffmarks on white trainers 

Bar Keepers Friend

• Bar Keepers Friend is excellent for cleaning anything from wooden skirting boards to most types of surface, glass, tiles, ceramic and alloys. Bar Keepers Friend is an old family favourite which has many uses:
• Sinks, even granite sinks – sprinkle it onto the sink, add a little water and leave half an hour before scrubbing off and it leaves it like new. It removes tea stains, juice stains, rust stains, scum marks, and anything else in your sink!
• Work surfaces – sprinkle onto a wet cloth and rub lightly and rinse. It even removes felt tip pen marks.
• China and glass – it is particularly good for removing tea stains and is approved by Wedgwood for use on fine porcelain.
• Ceramic glass – it can be used on cookware, hobs and oven doors.
• General household – as per its original use, it is excellent on copper and brass, but also on chrome (removes rust) plastic, tiles and grouting (great for removing soap scum and hard water marks).
• Cleans barbecues, grills and oven racks.

Tip: If you don’t rinse it off properly you can actually see where you’ve been, which is an important advantage when cleaning work surfaces thoroughly.

Do not use on – mirror polished stainless steel houseware/cookware, gold, silver or enamel (e.g. baths).

Shiny Sinks

• Good for cleaning caravans.
• Can be used on brushed stainless steel.
• Can be used on any type of sink including hard
• textured plastic.
• Also good for ceramic sinks.
• Cleans coated taps.
• Great for pots and pans.

Tip: Whenever you try any cleaning product for the first time, test a small area first.

Bath Brite

• Multi purpose bathroom cleaner.
• Prevents limescale build up. 

Cooper Glo

• Brass and copper cleaner.
• Also good for pots and pans.

Shine Brite

• Cleans kitchen appliances such as toasters as well as pots and pans and other stainless steel items.
